Whether we like to admit it or not, we all have a competitive streak, and there’s no better place for a healthy bit of competition than at the 18-hole Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote course in Puerto del Carmen.
We recently tested our putting skills at Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote’s 18-hole course and, unfortunately, the Gazette editor came back from a 4-point deficit to beat me on the penultimate hole.
I started well, proudly marking my points on the scoresheet and gave myself a nice cushion ahead of the editor but my eventual loss goes to show that the course isn’t “just for kids” and is quite challenging for all ages.
Each of the course’s 18 holes pose different challenges that are become tricker the further you go. I clearly excelled in the easier holes while my competitor potted some lucky shots in the harder holes.
The holes feature classic obstacles like a windmill, lighthouse, bridge, ramps and, towards the end there are some big showpiece holes that you’ll have to visit Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote to see for yourself.
Crazy Minigolf Lanzarote is a welcoming environment that can be enjoyed by all. Whether you’re a couple, group of friends or family. The course is well suited to challenge even the most experienced minigolf players.
There’s also a fully stocked bar at the entrance to the course, where you can purchase your tickets as well as order from a selection of local Spanish beers (on tap and bottled), spirits, slushies and soft drinks.
In the end the Gazette editor wasn’t a humble winner, and rubbed the win in my face, but rest assured that I’ll be challenging him to a rematch soon and will surely win next time.
