On Saturday 14th December, the members of the Las Palmeras Golf Society met at the Casa Cabaña restaurant in Puerto del Carmen for their annual Trophy Presentation Ceremony and Christmas dinner.
The event was well attended and the delicious traditional dinner, combined with excellent local wines, contributed to a merry, festive atmosphere.
Before dessert, a very successful fundraising raffle was organised by the Secretary. Many prizes were on offer that delighted the winning ticket holders. The top prize was an original painting of a sea urchin by Marimar Duarte, a local artist from Famara. The raffle was followed by the much-awaited Trophy Ceremony that rounded off the various year-long competitions that took place during 2019. Here is the list of the Trophy winners:

A few words of thanks by the Secretary ended the event. However, the night was still young for some of the members, who continued partying.
