The Cocinas Volcánicas Food Fair in Puerto del Carmen’s old town harbour kicks off today at midday.
The most important event of the year in the island’s food calendar, there’ll be 56 stalls offering a huge range of food and drink.
There’ll also be several cooking workshops, and live music will begin at 8pm tonight with U2 tribute band Rattle & Hum.
They’ll be followed by Mari, the singer from Chambao, whose electro-chill flamenco music will be well known to anyone who was here in the mid 2000s.
